So this is a pretty nutty story.....  This is a new old stock 9 transistor radio Lloyds Solid State fm/am Portable , model 8R35B.   However somewhere in time the box and radio got crushed.  so guess was sat on a shelf for all those years , due to the damage.  I tested it it, works great , I did clean the volume control to get rid of the scratchy sound....   it runs on a 9  volt battery ( Not included)  also runs on 9 volt original adapter which is included....   so you could listen all night and never have to change a battery....  also has case.   Has the Box, but missing the lid.  No directions.

you can see the front grill is damaged ....  and the box is dented...   but other then some marks on front of radio and the grill has a hole, the rest appears new old stock to me.   Inside is super clean.    Is a shame it is damaged of course, but is what it is.....  box says  year 1970 !!
