This vintage piece seems to be rare for Miriam Haskell.  We are guessing it is from the 1960's era.  The lucite/acrylic  butterfly shape has a clear layer with gold foil laid on black lucite. The butterfly is approximately 2" x 2".

 The original strap/chain is brown leather with a paper label,   also the name is  stamped on the metal tag as shown in photo.  The leather strap or chain is 30" long.  There is a rectangular metal piece that has Miriam Haskell on one side and a patent number on the other side.  The number can be read with as microscope -3427681- but we think that is for the metal fitting itself.
