Henry Bibby played collegiate basketball for UCLA and was the starting point guard as the UCLA Bruins won three straight Division I Basketball Championships in 1970, 1971 and 1972 under head coach John Wooden. He was selected as an All-American his senior year. He was selected by the New York Knicks in the fourth round 58th overall pick in the 1972 NBA Draft. He played in the NBA for nine seasons, 2.5 years with New York and won an NBA title in 1973. He was a part of the 1977 and 1980 Philadelphia 76ers team that made the NBA Finals, but lost both times. He also played for New Orleans and San Diego. Henry Bibby personally autographed the Spalding white panel mini basketball in my presence on July 20, 2006 at the Rocky Mountain Revue summer league played at the Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City, Utah. It comes with my own Certificate of Authenticity.
