Excellent condition!

Works great- matched pair for
2009 4,1 Apple Mac Pro

A great, underrated processor because the TDP is only 95 watts vs the X5690 X5680 which is 130 watts. With a dual tray- that equals a 70 watt difference, but you get the same core count and still over 3 GHz.

Other sellers charge much more and tout that the processor is cleaned to a mirror finish. They charge more because they use a chemical to strip all the glue, solder, and tin away. They charge more because it takes more time to do this, but this is completely unnecessary. We carefully remove the lid and most of the glue and then we polish the solder/tin to a smooth, buttery finish. It may be hard to tell in the pictures, but the surface is as smooth as butter.

This will allow an excellent bond between your thermal paste and your heat sink. Once your heat sink is set in place - no one will ever see the processor again and therefore completely unnecessary for a mirror finish. If you would like to pay more and gain an aesthetic no one will ever see - look elsewhere. This processor will work exactly as it should, at a cool temperature, and for an excellent price.
