This is a great looking vintage brooch by top of the line designer, Vendome.       It measures 2 1/2" at the widest sections of the piece.  The base metal is a gold plate.  The designer stamp can be viewed on the back portion of the brooch.

The  design of the brooch are the most notable features.  It is a substantial piece; very well manufactured.  

You might try wearing this on a lapel, pin it on a hat or a purse or just place it on a vanity tray for a touch of whimsy.
