Craft County has compiled everything you'll need to make the perfect soutache crafting kit! Soutache cord is a thin, flat braid used mainly in passementerie to add decorations to textiles, but can also be used in clothing & jewelry to add embellishments or hide seams. Each cord is 3 yards in length and consists of a core made from two parallel cords with a decorative thread woven between and around them until completely covered in a braided herringbone pattern. These cords are made of either polyester or rayon, depending on the color you choose, and have an overall thickness of 3mm, making them ideal for beads. Match colors to create elegant hems and designs, or experiment with the textured metallic options to create a sheen and glossy look which can enhance the look of jewelry and formal attire.

Craft County is also offering a selection of carbon steel wire cutters & pliers, as well as the book Sensational Soutache Jewelry Making: Braided Jewelry Techniques for 15 Statement Pieces, a guide to soutache crafting that features 15 easy-to-follow projects for earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, and more!
