Condition:  In very fine to good condition. There are some minor scratches and dings throughout, but no significant wear. Raised details are well-preserved and crisp. Details are well defined with original finish. It is was awarded many years ago, but anyway this medal still in a good condition in corresponds to regarding its age. A great exemplar to add to your collection! The best indication of condition is to study the photographs carefully. Award very attractive, even patina on both sides indicates the authenticity of the product.  A superb example all through. The award retains beautiful luster everywhere. Comes with original mint marked.  Anyway, all this remains looks like overall excellent historical things, and in our opinion, everything adds tremendous significance of character to theses award. Overall, a very attractive specimen!  The best indication of condition is to study the photographs carefully,  the pictures that are taken are also to be considered a part of the description of the item.

REARE VARIATION of Red Cross Medal in Silver in Russian- Japanese War 1904-1905. Original Ribbon. Great Condition.
Silver stamp authentication is on the right side of the ear of the medal shown on the last picture.

In addition to the combined arms medal in memory of the Russo-Japanese War, another silver medal of the Red Cross was established, the 'Highest Approved Position' of which was announced by the Ministry of Justice on January 19, 1906. In the 'Regulation' it is reported that '... the Red Cross Medal is established to give people of both sexes in remembrance of the participation they took during the war against the Japanese of 1904 and 1905 in the activities of the Russian Red Cross Society, which is under the Highest Patronage of Her Imperial Majesty the Sovereign Empress Maria Feodorovna (mother of Nicholas II) ' Red Cross medals were awarded to all persons who took part in the activities of the Russian Red Cross Society: members of all departments, committees and communities.

The medal was worn on the Alexander ribbon on the left side of the chest, if desired, with all kinds of clothes. With orders and other insignia this medal (should be suspended) to the left of those, immediately after the medals complained by the government.
