Piper-Lee Bear Wear Collection: Handmade 'Heart' Red Cotton Teddy Bear Dress (bear not included in the sale item)

A dress to show your love for your favourite teddy bear or other soft toy in red with white love you messages printed on the fabric.  

My collection of handmade teddy bear clothes are especially created by myself for discerning bear lovers, in funky, fresh and different styles and looks and special attention to trims and finishing. Every outfit is an original and unique
To fit approx 38cm or 15" long bears with pliable head, such as Build a Bear, Stuflers, Disney Bears Shelley May and similarly shaped/sized bears. This dress may fit other sized bears. If in doubt, pls send measurements and I will advise on fit and if practicable, alter the dress to fit your bear at no extra charge.
All garments are handmade originals, made by the seller, an experienced Australian seamstress with a niece who loves them! And created with as much attention to detail as I put into making my own clothes 
Created from quality fabrics with cheeky, fun, fresh styles for day and evening wear.
Most garments feature a wide neckline for easy pullover head dressing.
No fiddly buttons and minimal easy to use closures so even the littlest bear lovers can play without help
Overlocked seams to cope with wear and tear, mostly easy care fabrics

I've called this dress Heart because it is made with love and has very special messages printed on the fabric. I bought this fabric to make koala mittens for the koalas injured in the 2019 Australian bushfires and have used the remainder to make  special bear dresses. 

-The fabric is 100% cotton with a bright tomato red background with white writing which says I love you so much, you will always be my baby, love you forever and good morning baby.

-The design is sleeveless, has a wide neckline for easy pop on dressing and the bodice is fully lined in the same cotton fabric. 

-There are no closures to fiddle with so Heart is truly made to play.

-The generously gathered skirt falls beautifully and the waist is trimmed with a funky white mini pompom braid all the way around.

-All internal seams are overcast for a professional finish and durability.

-Length of the dress from shoulder to hem is approx 24.5cms/9.5"

This dress will fit a variety of bear sizes and some dolls. The bear in the photo is my 38cm/15" long bear Build a Bear but the dress will fit larger bears. 

Made to fit primarily 38-40cm/15" bear with pliable head such as Build a Bear as shown in the photos, Stuflers, Disney Bears Shelley May but this is a roomy fit and will fit larger bears.
