Bamboo charcoal is made by burning pieces of bamboo at temperatures above 800 degrees, and provides the ultimate natural beauty resource.

Bamboo charcoal absorbs odors, can purify water, and has lots of health and beauty benefits for your skin.

Bamboo Charcoal soap has long been prized in Asia to clear, smoothe, absorb excess oil, soften roughness generally improve skin condition and washes away clean, leaving skin soft and fresh.

It is a mild exfoliant so is great for oily, spotty skin but equally for dry and sensitive, delicate skin.

Liquorice root extract is added a natural antimicrobial herb for it’s anti-inflammatory and demulcent ( forms a soothing protective film) properties, may help some skin conditions like eczema, acne

With a fabulously dense creamy black lather this is a lot of fun to use with kiddies too who love the contrast of the black lather with their skin, and how it washes clean away.

Scented with a zingy blend of antiseptic Star anise and peppermint oils.

Ingredients: Coconut oil; Mount Wellington spring water (soap nut infused); olive oil; sunflower oil; soy wax; Leatherwood beeswax; Tasmanian seaweed extract; Bamboo Charcoal; essential oils (Star anise & Peppermint); Sodium borate (Borax) <1%; Leatherwood honey.

How to use Beauty and the Bees soap bar:

For best results: wet hair, wet hands, & lather up the soap bar in the wet hands. Use the lather to clean the scalp & hair. Rinse well with warm water. That’s it!

There is no need to rub or repeat. 

Care instructions:

Note this is a completely natural bar of soap. Unlike commercial soap,  no chemical hardeners have been added. It is therefore very important to try and keep the bar dry when not in use. We recommend using a air soap dryer or something similar .
