1993 marks the 40 years anniversary of first the Playboy Magazines' print. There a PLAYBOY trading card collection released since.

This PLAYBOY TRADING CARD COLLECTION depicts the centerfold covers and playmates pictorials. The collection was released in 12 different sets. Each set covers only one particular month's cover girls and playmates in the past 40 years. For example, January Edition covers all the cover girls and playmates of the past 40 years.

The 12 card sets are January to December Edition. Each set has 120 cards + 3 Checklist cards + 6 Preview cards ( upcoming next issue). December series does not have the 6 preview cards.

In each month's card series, there are also limited edition CHASE CARDS released. Typically features 6 Playmate of the Year and 3 different Celebrity (3 cards for each Celebrity). There are also signature cards released in each month's edition.
