Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED Bars

The Arcadia Jungle Dawn Bar is a full spectrum high output LED system.

It delivers the energy needed to allow plants to grow and will also facilitate active basking in Arid species by increasing visible light levels in terraria and vivaria. 

The system uses the very latest full spectrum high output LED diodes to project up to 141 lumens per watt for the 34w and 51 w Bars and up to 138 lumens per watt for the 15w and 22w Bars. 

You can place it on top of a mesh or fit it inside of an enclosure. 

Wherever you decide to use yours, the Jungle Dawn LED Bar will provide high levels of quality, energy rich light.

The Jungle Dawn LED Bar projects a full spectrum of light that mimics visible natural sunlight (6200 kelvin). It does so without using PAR limiting separate red and blue diodes. It has a high PAR, a high percentage of PUR, a high CRI and no unnatural purple hue. 

Arcadia Jungle Dawn LED Bars can be easily linked together to form a chain of up to 10 units.  They can also be linked with Arcadia Reptile ProT5 UVB systems, reducing the number of wall sockets required per enclosure. 

Arcadia Reptile Jungle Dawn LED Bars use a triple track LED configuration with a high degree of built in internal protection.  It has built in over heat protection, over voltage protection, over current protection and short circuit protection. The built in efficient heat sink helps to prolong the life of the high output LED’s.

Jungle Dawn LED For Plant Growth

Arcadia Jungle Dawn Bars create vast quantities of light, greatly reducing the need to use large numbers of plant growth fluorescent lamps. 

Plants need access to the correct quantity of energy and within the correct light spectrum to be able to replace the cells that are either damaged or die naturally each day. If we under energise a plant we reduce its ability to create cells through photosynthesis, limiting growth. Typically plants that lack the energy will display discoloured leaves and have a tendency to ‘bolt’ as they grow quickly upwards to be closer to a light source. Healthy plants display good colour, strong root networks and grow at a moderate pace, evenly.

Photosynthetic Active Radiation (PAR)

PAR is the measurement used to quantify the amount of energy produced by a light source.

PAR levels are increased by two elements within lighting and these are; 

1. Quantity of light (Lumen/lux), 

2. Accuracy of the spectrum. 

If a lamp produces light within a spectrum that is close to that of natural sunlight and has a high quantity (lumen output) it will have a high level of PAR. 

The higher the PAR the more energy there is to cause photosynthesis.

Each unit arrives with a power cable with integrated switch, fitting kit to allow you to fit this bar inside of a vivarium and a link cable.
