Brand Lucky John started as a hobby. It brought together a group of
people with similar interests – and the hobby turned into a business.
In 1988, Mr. Janis Stikuts – a multiple champion of Latvia and the
Baltic States in different types of fishing sports – along with other
fishing enthusiasts, decided, that every fisherman should be able to use
high quality spinners, crankbaits and other spinning lures, which were a
real rarity at that time. So they set up a small factory to start the
production.
At the beginning, the product range was relatively small – 13 rotating
spinners, each in two colors, 2 wobblers in two colors, 4 spoons, one
Devon, 14 fly fishing flies, 8 winter lures, a few wind- rings and
buckles. There was no absolute certainty, that the products will reach
the market, but that’s how the Lucky John story started.
Minnow
einsetzbar.
Soft Baits Lucky John Minnow is the most popular model of a shad with a
classic shape. The shape of the lure’s body resembling a little fish
along with a tail fin generate incredible swings when moving in water.
The material used in LJ MINOW soft lures deserves particular attention.
The base of the lure is soft plastic, which perfectly retains the shape
of the lure and is resistant to external impacts. It has certain
immunity to predator’s teeth, withstands a lot of bites and is firmly
attached to the hook. The lure has an explicit taste and scent of
mackerel due to the aromatic salt introduced in the structure of the
material and a special aromatic oil used as the coating of the lure. It
would be no exaggeration to state that the combination of soft plastic
resistant to predator’s teeth, a strong attractant and a wide range of
colours makes this lure universal for any type of angling for the most
popular predatory fish, such as pike, pike-perch and perch, using jig
tackle.
