Offered for your consideration is this wonderful shell cameo brooch. The cameo and the setting are in excellent condition - no defects to note. Any dark areas on the gold setting in the photos are shadows - the gold is intact with no dents, tears or repairs.  The setting is marked "14K" gold - it measures 2 5/8" (67 mm) x 2 1/8" (54 mm) x 1/2" (13 mm) not including the straight pin - the actual cameo measures 2 3/8" (60 mm) x 1 3/4" (45 mm). The back of the cameo is signed "SB". The complete cameo and setting weight is 25.7 grams. The cameo will come in a gold-foil gift box. Please see all of the photos.
