Vintage 1985 GEORGIA DEE #4889 Porcelain Cabbage Patch Doll by Xavier Roberts is NOS (New Old Stock) coming from another doll store in Indy that has closed it's doors. 

This porcelain doll is based on the original soft sculptures created by Georgia artist Xavier Roberts and is manufactured by Shader’s China Doll Inc. In Newark, DE exclusively for Applause Division of Wallace Berrie & Co., Inc.

These are all limited edition dolls and include COAs, paperwork, boxes, wrap and other than the store samples they will include and be shipped in their original brown shippers.

This particular doll is a store sample and does NOT include the shipper. It is mint condition and has not been removed from the box but the box was kept on a store shelf And has a few minor issues such as a couple spots on the inside that paper has peeled off or been rubbed off and one or two spots on the outside and it looks like some slight fading on a couple corners where it was under the shelf light. The door it’s self has not been affected as the lid was kept on the doll. This style features very long lemon blonde hair and green eyes, a Mauve & Ivory satin romper with ruffles.

BOX/CARD GRADE:  C7+ OR BETTER (Few rub/peel marks where paper is removed on inside as shown in pic, small tear on lid handle as shown, couple corners show slight fade from lighting)

ABOUT GRADING

We grade CONSERVATIVELY so there are no surprises! Box Condition is based on a "C-SCALE GRADING SYSTEM". The "C-Grading System" is a system used by most dealers, retailers and appraisers to rate the condition of your Dolls and other Collectible items. We are NOT certified AFA graders. If our grade is C8+ or above we are indicating “AFA READY”. If we grade the item as C10, it is likely to get an AFA grade of 90. Designations are C-1 through C-10. C-1 is the poorest possible condition. C-10 is factory mint and NRFB (never removed from box).

**FYI: AVERAGE STORE-BOUGHT GRADE is C8- to C8+**
