Check back later *** We gladly combine orders Here's a 1926 vintage 8 page UK print sheet music for the Jazz/Danceband tune Take Your Finger Out Of Your Mouth Music by: Duke Yellman Words by: Joe Schuster Condition: the booklet is in a great condition for it 's age. it has spine wear and is partly open in part, split at bottom. a small pen mark front, but besides this it has little wear and looks nice and crisp. Lovely piece !!! info: The tune was penned by Duke Yellman who recorded for Edison and Gennet. We're not sure he recorded this tune himself. The song however was recorded by many in the second half of the 20s. African-American? bandleader (other sources say he was from the Caribbean island of Grenada) Arthur Briggs, recorded it in Berlin in 1928 for Polydor with his Savoy Syncopators (with Al Bowlly on vocals?) (Briggs worked in Europe mainly). But it was also recorded in the 20s by the orchestras of Phil Napoleon, Ambrose, Billy Jones & Ernest Hare & Fred Rich.
