Ichian Tanaka (田中以知庵, 1896-1958) was a Japanese-style painter. He was born in Tokyo pref. He studied painting techniques under Konen Uehara at first, and then became a disciple of Fuko Matsumoto in 1909. He also learned Zen Buddhism. He exhibited several times at the Nihon Nanga-in exhibition and the Nitten exhibition. He was a member of the Nihon Nanga-in. He was assigned to a judge of the 6th Nitten exhibition in 1950.
