A set of three high quality NEMA 17 stepper motor heat sinks each with a thermal adhesive backing allowing for quick and long lasting fitment to the stepper motors. The heatsinks are used to cool the stepper motors and prevent overheating and missed steps, the majority of 3D printers actually rely on the metal frame of the 3D printer to act as a heat sink for the stepper motors.

During long prints the stepper motors can get very hot, however these heatsinks allow for your steppers to run much cooler for longer and within tolerance reducing the chances of skipped steps.

Another benefit when printing high temperature plastics such as ABS inside an enclosure is reducing the stepper motors temperatures. The addition of a cooling fan directed to the heatsinks allows for an easy conversion to active cooling.
