Agilent's 2mL screw top vials are constructed from Type 1 borosilicate glass, with low metal content, to protect your sample from destabilizing or leaching. Our 2mL glass vials are available in both amber and clear versions. The associated 9mm vial screw cap comes with your choice of septa constructed from either PTFE/silicone, PTFE/silicone/PTFE or PTFE/natural red rubber.

Our screw vials and vial screw caps are designed for both HPLC and GC instrument platforms across a wide variety of applications, including pharmaceutical, environmental, energy and fuels, forensics, materials science, biopharmaceutical, proteomics, and metabolomics. The 2mL screw top vial is recommended for sample matrix that is not too volatile. Our short thread design of our 9mm screw cap makes for a quicker application and removal of cap increasing throughput when it matters.
