Bar reads “Pro Patria”. The front of the medal reads “City of New Bedford” Nova A.D. 1847”. Reverse reads “United States Military forces 1917-1918” “New Bedford To her gallant sons in grateful recognition of a duty well performed in the World War.” Small makers mark “WB & Co Newark N.J.”

This medal/ribbon is in good condition considering its age. The ribbon is a little frayed in places but is firmly attached to the bar. Please see photos and feel free to ask questions. Comes from a smoke free home.
