Up for auction is a(n) Vtg 1940s Boy Scout BSA CAMP TEPICON Cut Edge Tweed Patch
THIS PATCH IS 100% AUTHENTIC. IT CAME OUT OF THE ESTATE OF A SENIOR SCOUT LEADER WAYNE FINKBONER, born in Freeport, Illinois in 1930, where he was also raised. From what I have gathered Mr. Finkboner was one of the founding scouts for the 227 WETASSA LODGE and was very active, traveling to other lodges & camps swapping lodge patches. Mr. Finkboner moved to Ft Worth, Texas and had a career at Lockheed and passed in 2015.
Please check my other auctions for GREAT RARE 1940'S ORDER OF THE ARROW and BOY SCOUT related items. Over the next week or two I will be listing many items from his LARGE patch collection and other boy scout items. ALL THE PATCHES DATE TO THE 1940'S and most are in great condition. These patches were all stored in his little scout patch bag in a shoe box in a climate controlled area.
NO RIPS, HOLES OR STAINS, IN GREAT USED CONDITION. CUT EDGE.
Measures: 2 3/4"
