Here is a neat rare find. This is a salesman sample advertising axe for the American Axe & Tool Co. Head is plated and the etching/engraving/embossing can barely be seen on the head. Reads American Axe & Tool Co, Lippincot, Hunt Blood Red Warrior. The head is about 3-1/2" long. There is a fracture at the top, not sure if this is a casting error or from use. Does look to have been sharpened. Handle appears to be original with good age, but I am not sure.
