Blossom Design Ladle Carl Poul Petersen Sterling Silver Canada 1960

Canadian sterling silver blossom design cream or gravy ladle by Carl Poul Petersen (1895-1977) Montreal, Canada, c. 1966. Hammered surface with scrolled foliate detail to handle, stamped with maker's mark and Petersen, Handmade, Sterling.

Danish-born Petersen apprenticed with Georg Jensen from 1908 to 1913.

This handsome ladle is 6 1/4" long and weighs 30 grams. 

The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

Should it occur in spite of our careful packaging, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. We will be happy to assist in this. That being said, in over 10 years of internet shipping, we have had only one damage claim. Shipping is usually done within 24 hours of the receipt of a cleared payment.
