Certain vehicles have warning indicators on the dash to indicate to the driver that a bulb has blown. HID kits can confuse the car in to thinking that a bulb has blown, hence the warning light can illuminate when it shouldn't.

These pair of canbus decoders will work with any HID kit and are for preventing bulb warning on the dash lights, flickering on/off, one side illuminated and one side not when starting the car etc.
