Not to be confused with "The Puppetmaster," the 1993 Taiwanese film directed by Hou Hsiao-Hsien, who also directed "A City of Sadness." Puppet effects by David Allen Productions. Filming began December 1, 1989. Sound in Ultra-Stereo. Released on video October 12, 1989.
