What is a SHUTTLE HOOK?

Your Bobbin case fits into your sewing hook, either a ROTARY HOOK or a SHUTTLE HOOK. Turn the machine in the normal direction slowly and observe the Sewing Hook. If it rotates continuously then it is a ROTARY HOOK. If it travels back and forth, then it is a SHUTTLE HOOK.
