Tailors crayons, also known as Tailors Squares, are manufactured in a wax base and special chemical base. They mark smoothly, sharpen easily, and produce clear lines that met when pressed. Tailors Crayons are used when the fabric being marked is heavy enough to absorb and hide the melted wax without bleeding through the other side or when marking lines on which to cut fabric.
