You are bidding on a Brand New GM 365 Bellhousing Kit, produced by Southwest Speed (Part #650-39707).  This kit includes the Engine/Bellhousing Mounts, Throwout Bearing, Clutch Fork & Boot, Flywheel Inspection Shield, Lower Dust Cover, Clutch Ball, and the Reproduction of the highly sought after 3733365 Chevy Bellhousing for 55-57 Chevy’s with V-8 engines.  This is an exact reproduction with a date code of November 19, 1955 cast in the part, along with the 3733365 part number.  Every detail of this bellhousing has been retained in the exact form.  These vehicles came equipped with a 168 tooth flywheel and a 10 1/4" clutch disc.  This bellhousing will also accommodate the factory 168 tooth flywheel, as well as the modern 168 tooth flywheels, which will allow either a 10 1/2" or a 11" clutch disc to be used.  Just like the original part, except brand new, this bellhousing will accept all of the original or stock components with no other modifications.  If you are doing a restoration of a classic Chevy muscle car or just want the original 3733365 bell housing to finish that rod project, this bellhousing is the perfect part!

The 3733365 bellhousing was used with V-8 engines and 3 & 4 speed manual transmissions in all 1955-1957 Chevy 150’s, 210’s, Nomad’s, Sedan Delivery’s, & 1957 Del Ray’s, as well as the 1955-1959 Corvette's.  This bellhousing will fit the bill and work great in all of the above applications, as well as many different types of projects.  It will make it a snap to get that big GM bellhousing in your muscle car or rod project, allowing you to utilize the 168 tooth flywheel.  This new Chevy high performance 3733365 bellhousing will fit Small Block 265, 283, 302, 327, 350, & 400 Chevy engines, as well as Big Block 396, 402, 427, & 454 Chevy engines, and also Z-28, Yenko, Copo, Duece, & ZL-1 Models.  This bellhousing will accept your original Saginaw, Borg-Warner, or Muncie GM manual transmission with the 4.675" O.D. bearing retainer, but will also work with Tremec 5 & 6 speed transmissions with the 4.675" O.D. bearing retainer.  You can use one of the new bolt-in Classic Car Conversion Transmissions and still use all of the stock clutch pedals and rods with this bellhousing.

Will not work on 1962-1967 Chevy II & Chevy Nova models, as the size of the transmission tunnel is too narrow.

Will not work on Monza or Vega as they both used a cable operated 10.5" clutch with the pivot on the other side. The clutch fork was also angled about 45 degrees, not straight across.
