YOU WILL NEED 1 SENSOR FOR EACH SIDE OF MIRROR

This sensor fits X5 E53 but may fit many BMW models - PLEASE CHECK YOUR OLD SENSOR FIRST BEFORE BUYING.

DETAILED INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS provided are based on X5 E53 installation. If you have problems with your folding mirrors or they fold in but wont stay in its very likely to be a faulty sensor located in the mirror housing. The wires are very small and break easily so over time the sensor fails.

It only takes one failed sensor for the system to fail. You will need to use your existing metal tab attached to your old sensor which is easily and simply removed. Takes around 15 minutes to replace your sensor in the mirror. BMW DO NOT SELL THESE - YOU HAVE TO BUY THE WHOLE MIRROR ASSEMBLY
