A superior quality, pre-weathered, Laser Cut, Open Sided Barn
with fully detailed roof interior and enhanced detailing for a very realistic farm yard scene.
Supplied with pre-cut card components, photographic instructions & printed paper textures.
Glue, craft knife & cutting mat not included.

An incredibly detailed and realistic, heavily weathered pre-cast concrete barn of an open sided design. Typical of those used all over the UK and Europe for storing Hay & Straw. (We have a Round Bale Kit also available.) This kit comes with pre-cut (laser cut) card components and a number of pre-weathered paper texture sheets (these will need cutting out with scissors or a craft knife), step by step photographic instructions, plus rod for the rainwater downpipes.

Photographic textures have been used to create every aspect of this building kit, with realistically weathered corrugated asbestos effect roofing, interior roof detail, external guttering and downpipes, plus a very realistic concrete effect base with stains, weathering, drains & cracks.

Although this building is designed for use as a barn in a farm yard scene it will also work brilliantly as the basis for a number of scratchbuild projects including a narrow gauge engine shed.

What You'll Need To Assemble The Kit:
  • UHU, Deluxe Materials Roket Card Glue (recommended) or PVA Glue
  • Sharp Craft Knife
  • Steel Ruler
  • Cutting Mat
Other Construction Notes:
We'd recommend giving the finished kit a couple of coats of clear matt lacquer to seal the model once complete. This helps protect all card models, not just ours, from the effects of moisture and the environment etc.
