Brazilian waxing was made world famous on the beaches of Brazil where wearing a skimpy bikini is the norm. Brazilian waxing involves removing the tough bikini area hair and leaving a strip in the middle allowing you to get into the sexiest attire!

This product is formulated to create the perfect bikini wax in the privacy of your own home and is a fraction of the cost of the salon version (bear in mind, this kit will treat the area several times saving you a lot of money). It will give about 4-6 treatments. This particular wax can only be heated in the microwave. If you are looking for the Brazilian wax to heat in a Bains-Marie (hot water) or wax heater, please refer to our shop listings. You will need a spatula or butter knife (blunt blade of course) to apply this product. This is not included with the product.

Product Features:

Hard Wax (not soft wax) - GiGi Brazilian Body Hard Wax is formulated for thorough bikini waxing while being gentle enough for facial application. Hard wax is gentler to your skin than Soft Wax when you are waxing sensitive areas. It adheres only to hair, not to skin. This makes Brazilian Body Hard Wax gentle for sensitive areas while providing for the removal of even the coarsest hair. An additional benefit is the lack of the sticky residue that can occur with Soft Wax.

No Strip Formulation -  A relatively new concept in the UK retail market, but standard practice in professional salons. No Strip means you wax without using any strips. All you need for this wax to work is (a) a microwave and (b) a spatula. Read the instructions below to understand how no strip waxing works. The Gigi no strip formulation is fast, efficient and gentle; no strips means no mess no fuss.

Directions for how to Brazilian Wax using Gigi's Strip Free Formula:

Remove the cap and plastic disc. Place jar in the center of microwave. Heat for about 30 seconds. Carefully break the surface of the wax with a large applicator /spatula. Continue to heat in intervals of 15 seconds until you can stir the wax so it takes on a thick, honey or caramel-like consistency. Do not heat longer than a total of 1 minute, wax may become too hot to apply. Test the wax temperature before applying to bikini area.

With applicator / spatula / butter knife, apply a thick coat of wax in the direction of hair growth.

Allow wax to cool on skin until it becomes soft and pliable, approximately 30 seconds.

Hold skin taut, pull wax off with one quick motion in the opposite direction of hair growth keeping hardened wax as close to the skin as possible. Never re-apply wax to epilated area.

Immediately apply firm pressure to epilated area with the cushion of your fingers or palm of hand to clean skin.

The finest natural ingredients combine with soothing Aloe Vera and calming Tea Tree to create a skin sensitive, low temperature wax. It's easy to use. Simply apply to the skin, allow it to set slightly, then peel off. No strips are required. Hair is removed completely, leaving no stubble or shadow, just soft, smooth skin for up to 6 weeks. New hair growth will appear finer too and should visibly reduce with repeated treatments.

Warnings & Precautions:

Do not use on skin treated with Retin-A, Glycolic Acid or Alpha Hydroxy products.

Do not use on sensitive, sunburned, irritated, peeling, cut or broken skin.

Do not use over varicose veins, moles, warts, pimples or rashes.

Do not use alcohol or astringents on skin immediately before or after waxing.

Do not use on inside of nose or ears, on nipples, perianal area, vaginal/genital areas, eyelashes or eyelids.

Hair should be 1/8" long before wax.

Skin must be held taut while removing wax.

Tips:

If you have sensitive skin, rub an ice cube over the area first to numb it a bit.

Before waxing, apply a light dusting powder to help the wax grip the hairs
