WILLIAM FREDERICK WITHERINGTON (1785-1865)(ATTRIBUTED)

This series of pencil drawings continue the examples already on the net by or attributed to Witherington.

He was a well known Georgian/late Victorian artist who studied at the RA Schools in 1815.   He exhibited at the RA between 1811 and 1863 shortly before his death in 1865.    He was elected RA in 1840.

They are part of a large folio bought at a major London sale room and are guaranteed to be by or attributed to Witherington.

The standard of the drawings is extremely fine.

All are mounted on acid free white paper and then on acid free board.    The condition is fine throughout.

This fine pencil drawing is of an imposing, probably tudor, farmhouse.
