    • GENERAL

    This is a great general purpose valve for almost any application requiring a high pressure 1/2" valve . Like most diaphragm-type valves, this valve requires minimum differential pressure (5 psi) to operate. It is intended to be used in pressurized systems, not in gravity feed systems.

     

    VALVE COIL / ELECTRICAL

    The valve coil is epoxy encapsulated and comes with 10 inch lead wires (24VDC/24VAC and 120VAC versions come with DIN connector coil as pictured).  

    The coil is rated for continuous duty, which means that the temperature will stabilize at a safe level and will not continue to rise indefinitely. As with most continuous duty rated valves, the coil may still get warm or even hot during long activation periods. This is completely normal for most solenoid valves. 


    PIPE THREAD INFORMATION

    Pipe thread sizes can be confusing if you are not familiar with the standard. The table below shows the most common NPT (National Pipe Thread) sizes, their equivalent outer thread diameters, and the number of threads per inch (TPI):

    Please note that diaphragms and coils are considered "wear and tear" items and are not typically covered by the warranty.
