12 Volt Universal Replacement
Headlight Switch

This is a brand spanking new Universal Replacement Headlight Switch.  Has a 5.5 Ohm Rheostat to dim your dash lights.  It mounts in a 3/8" diameter hole.   This switch can be used for just about any vehicle that you are unable to find a factory replacement headlight switch for.   Perfect for a hot rod, rat rod or custom.   The shaft is not removable from this switch.  The knob IS removable with a GOOD quality 1/16" Allen wrench (Harbor Freight quality won't work).  Switch is marked 12 volt but will work equally well on a 6 volt vehicle.  Your original headlight knob must have 8-32 internal threads (or be modified) to work with this switch.  This switch does NOT control the interior lights.  Chrome Plated Plastic Knob and Bezel Nut.

Originally these switches were marked  6 volt with 30 amp breakers and 12 volt with 20 amp breakers.  Now both the 6 Volt and 12 Volt switches come with 20 amp breakers.  Both switches are now identical except for the marking.  They share all of the the exact same parts.

We have 30 amp breakers available for $ 3.00 each if you need them for a 6 volt application.  Go ahead and make your purchase BUT DO NOT PAY FOR IT then Email us and ask us to add it to your invoice.  We will add the item and send you an invoice then you may checkout.
