Up for your consideration is a RARE AND UNUSUAL WW2 ERA CANTEEN, COVER AND STRAP. This set has been used and does show some wear. First is the canteen itself. Marked U.S.-1918-B.A.C.O. on the canteen and then what countries, ports and cities this Veteran has been in. On the other side is the name Pegler, attempted once towards the top and in cursive in the middle. First date is May 25-'43 and ends in Germany 6-1-45. The cup is marked US SMCO 1945. The cover, lined with wool, and the strap are marked Japan. Both show wear and the buckle is broke. Guaranteed to authentic. Fantastic addition to any militaria collection.
