Desautelsite Collected At: San Benito County, CA (This infamous mineral rich area has been closed for several years now and will continue to be closed for at least another 20 years). This is an old Seibel Mineral specimen and comes with the original label Measures: 3.25" x 3" x 1" This specimen comes from the extensive private collection of Murray Kidder. Mr. Kidder was an aeronautical engineer at Marquardt and a very active member in their Rockhound club. He collected minerals from the western US and all over the world from the 1950s to the 80s. He enjoyed competing in numerous CFMS display competitions and won several blue ribbons with his specimens. He also owned the Fat Cactus Mine in the Providence Mtns. We are honored to present you with the specimens from his collection.
