This is a new very high quality and very correct Ross steering box repair / rebuild kit. This kit contains a new sector shaft, sector shaft bushings and seal, worm gear bearings and races plus the all important gasket. This will fit the Ross steering boxes in the MB, GPW, CJ2A, and CJ3A. This will not fit the M38, M38A1, and M170 (round fender 24 volt military jeeps) with the larger steering box. These are the only applications I know for this particular kit. This will take over 50% of the play out of your steering wheel.  Don't miss a great item for your restoration.  This is a 7/8" sector shaft. QTM

NOTE: For the M38 please check your sector shaft measurements. This kit will fit some of the early to middle production models. The late models have a 15/16" shaft. Also the M38 will accept the M38A1 steering box which was a common repair for motor pools and guard service depots.  

 Paint and some large or fragile items can't be combined.

Sorry, We only know the 1/4 ton jeep applications for this kit. We do not know tractor and other auto applications. 

Sector shaft measurements: Shaft diameter 7/8", CTC on the pins 1 1/2", spline length 13/16, Thread length 3/4" ,overall length 6 1/8", total shaft only length 5 3/8"
