 the piece is colored in a high gloss finish overall golden mustard color with spectacular aubergine/plum highlights... the piece is designed with a series of stylized leaves that surround the outer wall, as well as the outer edge of the lid...the leaves are further enhanced with natural veins that stand in relief on the piece ..... 

the top handle on the lid is very special... it is designed as a stylized flower with the identical plum leaves on the outer wall and a golden center

the interior of the piece is also glazed with the identical plum color matching the exterior embellishent

the shape of the piece is so beautifully balanced and the color combination is so very elegant

it is signed by the artist on the base and stands 10" tall and approximately 8" wide

this beautiful piece comes from a Michigan estate and is looking for a new home with someone who appreciates wonderful hand made art pieces
