'buck a disc' listing. up for auction today is a 1993 issued UK Import CD single by the Japanese Twee Pop/Punk

Pop band Shonen Knife titled 'Get The Wow'. the SK are originally from Osaka, working steadily and recording infrequently until signing with Gasatanka in the USA in the late 1980s. this led to their touring with Nirvana and

the  endorsement of Kurt Cobain, gaining them a contract with a major label outside of Japan. their sound is like

a joyous version of the Ramones at their most pop, with songs about food, trash day, xmas, Fruit Loops, public

baths, being too lazy to get up in the morning, and Ice Cream. this is a UK CD Single from the short time that

their music was being released on a separate label in the UK, than in the USA or Japan. it has the title track from

'Lets Knife' & an older song 'Neon Zebra', plus two new tracks from the BBC Oct 1992 (I think not available any-

where else). this was Autographed on front panel of digipack by the ladies of the original version of the band after

a show in the late 1990s. this would be a great buy for SK fans & collectors, and those who like their alt/Indie Rock with an uptempo/happy feel, and a slight punk edge. August/Creation CDAUG 003 CDL in two panel digipack.

I usually ship media mail. if you want to use first class or priority, LMK and I will bill you accordingly. <<<NOTE
