• USB-C Power & Audio Mod: Upgraded charging port that supports both charging and audio out. Includes a precision-fit physical spacer that perfectly fills the original charging port opening for a seamless, factory-finish look in your shell.


• Audio Enhancement Kit: Installed a new high-quality power capacitor to boost overall sound volume and premium noise-dampening capacitors to eliminate background hiss/white noise at higher volumes.


• New JCD Trigger Buttons: Replaced tactile L/R shoulder buttons with brand-new, OEM-quality JCD switches for a crisp, responsive click.


• New Face Button Contacts: A & B buttons have been replaced with brand-new tactile switches installed.


• Power Switch: Power switch has been disassembled and cleaned to ensure reliable power delivery and eliminate flickering power LEDs.

USB-C Port Compatibility Details

Please Note: Due to the hardware design of the GBA SP console, the USB-C mod has specific cable and audio requirements:

• Charging: Fully compatible with USB-C to USB-A cables. Compatible with USB-C to USB-C cables (may require flipping the cable orientation to one side to initiate charge depending on the power delivery block).

• Audio Out: Supports USB-C headphones or a USB-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter. Requires an analog adapter (without a built-in DAC chip). We sell these compatible adapters separately—check our other listings!
