Shinobi: The Complete Collection DVD (ADV Films Out-Of-Print Ninja Anthology)

Up for sale is a rare, highly collectible physical media archive of elite martial arts cinema—Shinobi: The Complete Collection on DVD! Released by the legendary, defunct boutique distributor ADV Films (A.D. Vision), this out-of-print 2-disc boxset compiles all four full-length live-action feature films in the acclaimed series. Serving as the directorial debut of renowned cinematic action director and stunt legend Kenji Tanigaki (action coordinator for The Princess Blade and Mortal Kombat 2), this high-octane saga stars martial arts powerhouse Kenji Matsuda. The narrative follows Kagerou, a fiercely talented young warrior whose ambitions are strictly restricted by his lower-class background under rigid ninja law. Teaming up with his close friend and fellow student Aoi, they make the perilous choice to break with centuries of tradition, challenge society's strict hierarchies, and become outcast rogue ninjas pursued relentlessly by their former clan. Packed with breathtaking swordplay choreography, spectacular stunt sequences, and stylized practical effects, this complete collection is a vital addition for collectors of Japanese cinema history, martial arts anthologies, and out-of-print action cult classics!
