This beautifully decorated Dutch pottery vase showcases sweeping, stylized motifs in rich cobalt blue, turquoise, burnt orange, golden yellow, lavender, and olive green against a deep chocolate-brown ground. Contrasting outlines and intricate hand-painted details give the design remarkable visual depth and character.

Its elegant sculptural silhouette features a dramatically flared trumpet opening, gently narrowed waist, and rounded foot. The combination of striking color, elaborate decoration, and graceful form makes this a wonderful display piece for collectors of Gouda pottery, European art ceramics, and early 20th-century decorative arts.

The underside carries the original hand-painted Gouda, Plazuid, and Holland markings, along with shape number 1795, an apparent Grotius pattern inscription, and additional factory/decorator marks.
