The Perfect Match Basecoat Prep Wipe Trigger KIT combines a 12 oz OEM color-matched automotive basecoat aerosol, one surface preparation wipe, and a genuine Krylon Snap & Spray Trigger. The basecoat is ready to spray without mixing or adding hardener.

IMPORTANT: This is BASECOAT paint, requiring a separate clearcoat. A compatible automotive clearcoat is required for final gloss and protection. Clearcoat is sold separately and is NOT included in this KIT.

IMPORTANT: CLEARCOAT REQUIRED

This KIT includes basecoat, a prep wipe, and a Krylon trigger ONLY. A compatible automotive clearcoat must be purchased separately and applied for final gloss and protection. Primer and additional preparation supplies are not included.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

  1. Clean and prepare the repair surface; use the included prep wipe as directed and allow the surface to dry.
  2. Shake the basecoat aerosol thoroughly according to product instructions.
  3. Attach the Krylon Snap & Spray Trigger according to its instructions and confirm proper fit.
  4. Apply light, even basecoat coats, allowing appropriate flash time between coats.
  5. After the basecoat has flashed as directed, apply a compatible automotive clearcoat according to its instructions.
  6. Allow the finish to dry and cure before handling or polishing.

Drying and flash times vary with temperature, humidity, and application conditions. Follow the product instructions.

Verify your vehicle's paint code before ordering. Actual color appearance may vary with vehicle age, sunlight exposure, previous repairs, and application technique. We recommend a test spray-out evaluated after clearcoat has been applied and dried.
