Up for auction is one package of original Hareline Medallion Sheeting, a fly-tying material that has been discontinued and is no longer in production.

This is the original Medallion Sheeting — not the newer Gen 2 material. Original packs have become increasingly difficult to find, and tiers who know this material know why it has remained so sought after.

Medallion Sheeting is a thin, translucent synthetic sheet with a unique texture and sheen that makes it especially useful for wing cases, shellbacks, wings, bodies and realistic insect patterns. It gives flies a look that is difficult to duplicate with many of the currently available substitutes.

I acquired a small quantity of these discontinued packs and am listing six different colors individually. Once they’re gone, I do not expect to have more.
