Vintage Progress “Holly” Stamped Christmas Embroidery Tablecloth Kit – Style No. 1225

This is a vintage, never-opened embroidery kit by Progress, featuring the classic “Holly” Christmas design in white.

The Hobby Lobby $45 price sticker is still on the kit. This was an extremely expensive purchase at the time for a single tablecloth kit. In the mid-1970s, $45 was equivalent to nearly $250-$270 in today’s dollars — roughly three weeks of work at minimum wage at the time. This was clearly a premium luxury craft kit, reflecting the exceptional quality of materials inside, including the generous amount of Royal Mouliné mercerized cotton thread, the large 68”x104” tablecloth, and the beautiful polyester lace trim.

What’s Included:

• 68” x 104” oblong tablecloth, pre-stamped with holly and berries cross-stitch design

• Multiple skeins of Royal Mouliné embroidery thread in red and green

• 100% polyester lace trim border

• Easy-to-follow embroidery instructions
