Sega Dreamcast Console NTSC-J (Japanese) with Controller + DreamPSU + GDEmu + VMU + Rumble Pak + 32GB SD Card
Here we have a complete Japanese DreamCast setup, ready to play!
The Console, Controller and VMU have been cleaned inside and out
New batteries have been installed into the VMU for your convenience (pull tab to keep the batteries fresh until it arrives to you has been added... if the pull tab rips you will need to unscrew the cover and remove it from in-between the batteries)
New AV cable, it is tight, so ensure you push it in all the way in otherwise you will get no image (no silver from the plug should be visible when installed correctly)
DreamPSU Power Supply has been installed, so its ready to use with our power points with no need for any convertors or adapters
Comes with a GDEmu installed with a 32GB SD card, pre-configured and ready for you to add your games to. I used GDEMU_SD (SD Card Maker for GDEmu V1.10) and recommend the same. If you decide to get another SD card, you need to ensure its formatted as FAT32 then use the above to add the games.
Also when adding games, its a good idea to click the "Region Free" box, if you don't and you add a PAL game, you will get Audio but No Video
I have also installed the 3D printed parts for "neat" look (see images)
To remove the SD card, you open the lid (while the console is off) and press the SD Card forward and let go, it will then spring back ready to be removed, to re-insert, push the SD Card all the way in until it clicks then let it go. The circle to the right can be pressed when you are in a game to return to the GDEmu menu with out powering the console off and on... just note, if you have the lid open and turn the console upside down it will fall out
Please see the last few images showing the GDEmu menu and games that have been loaded from that - this is an example and no games are included!
I have also installed a new capacitor and a resettable fuse on the controller board (see image), so if no controllers are working, unplug from the wall for 60 seconds, the fuse will reset and you will be good to go again. I have also replaced the clock battery with a holder and a brand new rechargeable battery
Please note: The Console and Controller have been "Retro Bighted" (not sure what that is, please google it), these were very Yellow and are back to a whiter colour but if you refer to the image of the disc lid open you can see it still has a yellow tinge. In the lid open image you can see some Yellow marks on the inside of the lid, that is where the weights were to hold the plastic down in the solution, PLEASE do not store this in a box or like, it needs to be out in the light, NOT direct sunlight but a room that gets sunlight otherwise there is a chance it will Yellow again, please see images for reference of its colour
Any Questions, please ask
