This is a Hotel del Coronado soy candle in the Oceanside scent. Hotel del Coronado, affectionately known as The Del, has been a landmark beachfront resort on Coronado Island since 1888, and this candle comes from the hotel's own boutique line.

It was hand-poured for the hotel by luxury candlemaker Niven Morgan, whose candles share the same 11 oz size and a 60-hour burn time. The candle is poured in a frosted glass tumbler printed with the hotel's turret logo and "Hotel del Coronado Est. 1888" in soft silver gray.

READ: The hotel gift shop most likely packaged this candle in a gift box they had on hand rather than one made for this specific scent, so the box is best thought of as decorative gift packaging. The candle inside is labeled as having the Oceanside scent, as shown on the candle sticker in the photos. The label on the gift box states “notes of orange blossom, jasmine, hydrangea and bamboo”. Oceanside is the hotel's coastal fragrance described as having notes of seagrass, sage and driftwood.

Condition:

The candle is new, unused and has never been lit; the wick is untrimmed and the wax surface is smooth with a few tiny specks visible up close. The gift box shows shelf wear, including a torn patch of the paper covering on the bottom, a scuffed corner on the lid, and some light discoloration on the top and sides.

Please note that the gift box is included as packaging only, and the scent notes printed on gift box do not match the Oceanside candle inside.
