Pair of vintage German porcelain courting-couple figurines by W.K.C. (Weiß, Kühnert & Co.) of Gräfenthal. Both carry red maker's marks associated with approximately 1905–1956 and are marked with closely related mold numbers 9730 and 9732.

9732 depicts a seated musician playing a stringed instrument with a seated woman placing an arm around his shoulders. It measures just over 6 inches tall, approximately 5 1/4 inches wide, and just under 3 inches deep.

9730 depicts a gentleman kneeling beside a bench while holding the hand of a woman with a fan and a large bell-shaped skirt. It measures just under 6 1/2 inches tall, approximately 5 1/4 inches wide, and just under 3 inches deep.

Both figurines were inspected very carefully and are in wonderful condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs were observed. The delicate fingers, fan, instrument, flowers, and other projecting details remain intact.

Please see pictures for the maker's marks, mold numbers, details, and overall condition.

These figurines will be packed with exceptional care for shipping, with each piece individually and generously protected with extra layers of bubble wrap. They will then be securely packed in a box, and that box will be placed inside a larger box with additional padding surrounding it for maximum protection on the trip to your home. Please unpack carefully!
