Vintage mid-century modernist pendant necklace designed and crafted by the prestigious German manufacturer Franz Breuning

Dating from the 1960s to 1970s, this elegant necklace features an elongated navette or marquise-shaped pendant highlighted by a vibrant pinkish-red glass faux ruby gemstone. The setting boasts a distinctive diamond-cut sunburst grooved border that catches the light beautifully. The back of the pendant bale loop is clearly stamped with the authentic "FB" maker's hallmark confirming its vintage German heritage.

The pendant hangs gracefully from a matching delicate gold-toned link chain with a secure vintage closure mechanism. The piece remains in excellent pre-owned vintage condition with minimal signs of aging, displaying a rich gold luster and an intact, brightly polished central stone.

The pendant measures approx. 3.7cm X 0.7cm and the necklace is 16cm / 41".
