Up for sale is an authentic 4-piece ceramic tea set manufactured by Arthur Wood & Sons in Staffordshire, England.

This set features a vibrant mid-century modern aesthetic, showcasing a bold, multicoloured confetti splatter pattern.

Bright red, blue, green, and yellow paint drops accent a textured grey-and-white spongeware background. The exteriors are heavily contrasted by sleek, solid black handles and spouts, rich black glazed interiors, and elegant gold gilt accents along the rims.

Condition Report:
• General: This set is in good vintage condition with vibrant colours and shiny glazing. The black interior glaze remains glossy. The colour glaze has seen small minor spots losses (circled in red)
• Spout: Please note there are minor "nibbles" (small fleabites/roughness) on the very tip of the teapot spout, which is typical for earthenware of this vintage age Please refer to the close-up photos to inspect this closely.
• Gilt: The gold trim along the rims shows light, age-appropriate wear but still retains a beautiful shine.
• Base: The bottom of the sugar bowk features the authentic, impressed "MADE IN ENGLAND" stamp.
