1960's VINTAGE RELUM RED & WHITE FOOTBALL SHIRT

DEADSTOCK UNWORN CONDITION - STORAGE MARKS TO WHITE PORTIONS

For sale here is a VERY RARE 100% original 1960's vintage Relum all-cotton long-sleeve red and white football shirt. Relum was a well known British company who sold good quality European made imported sporting and outdoors clothing and equipment, this shirt would have been sold as a generic piece but the colour scheme was clearly chosen to replicate the kits worn by major clubs like Manchester United during the 1960's when this was made. Put a period club badge on this shirt and you will have a timewarp condition authentic vintage 1960's club shirt.

CONDITION: Shirt comes from the redundant stocks of a long closed-down sports shop, it is unworn and the paper factory labels are still present in the collar but as you can see from the photos there are light brown spot marks to the white portions from its 50+ years in storage. These spot marks should launder out but as this is a deadstock piece I present it unwashed and as-found.

SIZE: Label size is given as 34/36, this would be a youth size and I would suggest it would fit around the 11-12 year old mark but here are the measurements as they come up on the tape: 36" chest (18" pit-to-pit), 20" under-arm, 18" across the shoulders, 24" from rear collar seam to bottom hem of shirt.

In need of a good new home, this is a rare survivor!
